If you own a business in the Northern Territory (NT), there's a new online tool that helps you to understand your business requirements.
The free tool from the Australian Business Licence and Information Service (ABLIS) creates an Information Pack that's tailored to your business by asking you questions about your industry, operations and business stage.
For example, if you run an established café in the NT and are looking to grow your business, you can customise your pack to include information about franchising and employing people, and exclude information you're already familiar with, such as food safety and handling.
What the Information Packs include
Depending on your business type and industry, your pack can include information about:

Your completed Information Pack also includes a checklist, so you can see at a glance what other issues you need to consider. It also includes links to other resources such as relevant legislation and government contacts.
